Janet Jackson has revealed the first preview of a long-in-development documentary on her career.

The aptly-titled Janet promises, as the singer says in the clip, "my story, told by me - not through someone else's eyes." She'll achieve that through original interviews (including testimonial from Paula Abdul, Mariah Carey and Missy Elliott) and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage. (Among those seen in the preview: producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, rapper Tupac Shakur and Janet's late older brother Michael.)
