Not only is Wolfgang Van Halen a musical progeny, the guy is pretty great at torching mouthy Twitter trolls, too.

The son of legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen is soon to release his solo debut album, which is getting closer to release after a handful of delays.

Being the offspring of such a revered music icon comes with highs and lows, not to mention an endless supply of social media trolls. The young Van Halen has handled himself like a champ in face of such online attacks, responding with humor and a casual "oh well" shrug worthy of peak David Lee Roth.

Van Halen's latest torch session came in response to a Twitter troll attacking the 29-year-old musician, throwing out the accusation that his album will be "just a revised version of 'Eruption' on bass," referencing the iconic guitar solo found on Van Halen's instantly classic debut album.

In response, Wolfgang Van Halen proved the troll "right" by sharing his version of "Eruption" on bass. It's pretty great. Point: Wolfgang Van Halen. Later, hater.
