WATCH: Rick Springfield Shares New Version of "Human Touch" for Social Distancing

Rick Springfield is doing his part to encourage social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic with an update on his 1983 hit, "Human Touch." The former Dr. Noah Drake shared the reworked tune on Instagram, thoughtfully providing the new lyrics so fans can sing along at home.

"I'm not sure what prompted me to write this in the first place," Springfield says in the video before playing the song, "but it was not this. So old song, new lyrics." Among those new lyrics, the comedic couplet: "Got my weed, yeah don't need much/We'll succeed if we all don't touch."
