British band Echo & The Bunnymen will reissue their first four albums on vinyl this fall, more than four decades since the release of their first LP.
On Oct. 22, the band will issue new 180-gram pressings of Crocodiles (1981), Heaven Up Here (1981), Porcupine (1983) and Ocean Rain (1984). The latter three were all Top 10 hits on the U.K. album chart, with Porcupine and Ocean Rain each spinning off a well-loved Top 10 single, "The Cutter" and "The Killing Moon." ("Moon" reached a new generation on the soundtrack to the cult classic film Donnie Darko.)
For color vinyl enthusiasts, each album will be available in exclusive limited quantities online: Crocodiles pressed on yellow vinyl, light blue for Heaven Up Here, white for Porcupine and dark blue for Ocean Rain.
The band, featuring original lead singer Ian McCulloch and founding guitarist Will Sergeant, will embark on a tour of the U.K. and Ireland starting in February of 2022. You can get tickets here and see all the dates below.
