The summer of 1982 was approaching, and Eddie Money needed a hit. His most recent album, Playing for Keeps, had underperformed, with none of its singles reaching the top 40.

In June of 1982, "The Money Man" returned with the full-length, No Control, led by first single, "Think I'm in Love." Co-written by Randy Oda (best known for his work with John Fogerty), the tune was just the hit that Money was looking for. "Think I'm in Love" crashed the top 20, peaking at #16 on the Hot 100. The song got all the way to #1 on the Billboard Top Tracks chart.

Helping drive the song was a comedic music video, with Money starring as a very famous vampire.

"'Think I'm in Love' was great, because the whole thing was me as Dracula, and my ex-wife was in the video - a very pretty girl," the singer told Songfacts. "It turns out the whole thing twists around - where she's biting my neck instead of me biting her. It was a cute video - we shot it in a castle."
